Reef Life Fishes now boasts 1070 fully documented species, each professionally photographed (1350+).

This application is ideal for divers, snorkelers, and aquarium enthusiasts who wish to not only identify but also learn about our saltwater friends.

Reef Life provides GPS coordinates for over 200 oceanic regions and sub-regions. This update streamlines the species identification process based on specific locations:

• You can choose from 31 pre-defined regions such as "Caribbean Sea," "Australia, tropical," or "West Coast United States" to view species exclusively from that area.
• You can manually drop pins on the interactive map to search for species in precise locations and save searches in your personalized "myPlaces" folder.
• You can opt for the "species in my current location" feature to display only species found in your present whereabouts.

Reef Life now enables users to add their own species to the app, including:

• Adding details and images for each species
• Editing or updating details of user-created species

For 3D Touch users, quick access to all features is available, along with a new "zoom view" on the image page. By pressing on a location within an image, you can zoom in on that specific spot.

Each menu can be toggled to present species either in list view format or grid view to cater to individual preferences. This advancement significantly simplifies the process of identifying marine life animals.

Marine Life Conservation and Education are also prioritized in this app, with two major sections featuring over 50 pages dedicated to education and conservation matters.

This interactive app is built on Apple’s latest programming language, Swift.
